Below is a breakdown of property taxes for each county sorted by political subdivision, taxable value, taxes levied for 2008, tax rate, and state aid. Please keep in mind that property taxes are levied locally by each individual subdivision and not by the State of Nebraska. An asterisk denotes a total dollar amount for that political subdivision. (Please note: funding from the Temporary School Fund and Homestead Exemption are not included in these figures.)
